Finding an Exterminator:
Seek an exterminator specializing in bed bug extermination for optimal results.
Occupant Safety:
All occupants should vacate the unit for a minimum of 4 hours post-treatment.
Pregnant women, infants, individuals with respiratory conditions, or those with immune deficiencies should extend this period to at least 6 hours.
Preparation Checklist:

Secure large garbage bags for preparation.
Ensure all preparations are completed before the exterminator’s arrival.

Remove pets for 4-12 hours post-treatment.
Cover cages or tanks of fish, birds, or reptiles.
Bag and remove all pet food, beds, and toys.
Linen and Clothing:

Bag books, knickknacks, bedside items, and other objects.

Furniture:
Move all furniture at least 12 inches away from walls.

Put away all kitchenware; rewash any items left out or uncovered.
